7 Of The Biggest Fights Happening In Thailand This Week

With stadiums around Bangkok having been back in operation over the last few weeks, the Muay Thai sporting calendar is slowly resuming normality, and this week sees the likes of ONE Championship, Muay Hardcore and Muay Thai Super Champ restart their own schedules.

With many shows to look forward to over the coming seven days, we preview which of the top fights you will want to see broadcasting live from various shows around Thailand this week.



Manachai YOKKAOSaenchaigym vs Phonaek Or.Kwanmuang

After three back-to-back stoppage wins at the end of 2019 and start of 2020, Manachai returns to face Phonaek Or.Kwanmuang at Rajadamnern Stadium this Thursday 30th July.

Rungnarai Kiatmoo9 vs Puenkon Tor.Surat

2019 True4U Muaymanwansuek Champion Rungnarai Kiatmoo9 is set to take on Puenkon Tor.Surat at Rangsit Stadium this coming Friday 31st July.

The fight will be streamed live on the True4U social media channels from 6pm Thai time / 12pm BST.

ONE Championship Super Bouts

The next four fights go without saying. ONE Championship returns for their first live event in almost five-months this coming Friday, headlined by the trilogy bout between Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Petchdam PetchyindeeAcademy for the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World title.

Elsewhere on the card, Petchmorakot PetchyindeeAcademy defends his Featherweight crown against Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex, Panpayak Jitmuangnon takes on Superlek Kiatmoo9 in a Flyweight Muay Thai showdown, and Superbon Banchamek faces fellow-Thai star Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in a Kickboxing classic.

Alessandro Sara vs Jaruadseuk Gor.Kampanat

Former WBC Muaythai World title contender, Alessandro Sara is in action in Thailand this weekend. He takes on Jaruadseuk Gor.Kampanat at Blue Arena, in Samut Prakan on the outskirts of Bangkok, on Sunday 2nd August.
