9 Huge Muay Thai Events This Weekend

This week has already got off to a huge start of elite Muay Thai action. World Siam Stadium hosted the first ‘Road to ONE’ on Monday and Lumpinee Stadium hosts its birthday event on Tuesday.

Thanonchai, Kulabdam and Kompetch are just some of the elite Muay Thai fighters in action on Tuesday. But we look ahead to another busy weekend of Muay Thai with 9 events from 5 different countries.

First and foremost, Jonathan Haggerty‘s return to ONE Championship airs this coming Friday. The pre-recorded bout against Taiki Naito headlines the ONE: BIG BANG II card.

Your weekly installment of Muaymunwansuk at Rangsit Stadium features another huge Muay Thai bout. The ‘Million Dollar Baby’ Sangmanee takes on Capitan Petchyindee Academy in the main event.

Another Muay Thai event on Friday to look forward to will be the return of Eruption Muay Thai in Australia. Some of the featured bouts include Junior Tafa vs Callum Godfrey and Ghot Seur Noi vs Anothony Papaz.

As we move into Saturday, we look forward to the return of ARENA FIGHT Championship. The first event in June 2019 was on par with any of the big promotions around the World. The second event this weekend looks like it could be even bigger.

A highly anticipated rematch for the AFC K1 Lightweight championship between Wilson Varela and Youssef Boughanem tops the bill. Other World renowned stars such as Elias Mahmoudi, Jimmy Vienot, Damien Alamos and more feature on the card.

Muay Hardcore returns to the Bazaar Theatre in Bangkok after two weeks with no shows. Three female Muay Thai bouts are the highlight of Muay Hardcore this coming Saturday. Nongbew takes on Brazilian Barbara Aguiar, Dangkongfah faces Souris Manfredi and Sawsing clashes with KC Carlos in the main event.

On Sunday, Muay Thai Super Champ have another mega Muay Thai fight card lined up. Swedish sensation Smilla Sundell, fresh of a win over Sawsing, faces another big test against Fahseethong.

The main event features former GLORY Kickboxing fighter Chommanee Sor.Taehiran facing Scottish Muay Thai star Erin Kowal.
