ONE Championship boss Chatri Sityodtong has spoken following last night’s ONE FIGHT NIGHT 9.
In the main event, British Muay Thai superstar, Jonathan Haggerty, made history. He knocked out reigning Bantamweight world champion, Nong-O Gaiyanghadao. The victory earned him a second world title in two different weight categories in ONE Championship.
Following the monumental win, there was speculation of a fight between Jonathan Haggerty and Liam Harrison. The ‘Hitman’ however responded saying he needs one fight after returning from injury before he is ready to face Haggerty.
Earlier today, ONE Championship CEO, Chatri Sityodtong posted on his social media. In the post, he asked which fights would people want to see next. The 5 fights he listed were;
- Rodtang vs Haggerty 3
- Nong-O vs Haggerty 2
- Haggerty vs Harrison
- Tawanchai vs Haggerty
- Rodtang vs Nong-O
In the comments, Jonathan Haggerty responded. He said he wants to face Felipe Lobo next. The Brazilian also fought on Saturday’s ONE FIGHT NIGHT 9, also earning a huge upset victory. He defeated Saemapetch Fairtex via knockout.
Felipe Lobo also responded to Jonathan Haggerty’s comment.
