Miguel Trindade will make his second appearance in GLORY Kickboxing this Saturday, July 20.
He is set to take on current Featherweight #1 ranked opponent, Abraham Vidales.
After a brief spell on ONE Championship in 2023, Trindade switched to Kickboxing rules and made his GLORY Kickboxing debut in December 2023.
He was unsuccessful in his first appearance, taking a Split Decision loss against Berjan Peposhi at GLORY 90.
When asked about the debut loss, he said;
“Even tough I lost on my GLORY debut, that loss gave me the experience that I needed to be able to adapt to the Glory style and made me see that I can fight against anyone in the featherweight division!”

He continued;
“Vidales is #1 in the ranks, but only until Saturday. I believe that he will not be able to solve me. He’s strong but I’m a totally different thing.”
If Trindade is successful on Saturday, he’ll become the #1 ranked Featherweight in GLORY and inline for a title shot against the champion.
The current GLORY Featherweight champion is Petchpanomrung Kiatmoo9, who defends his title on the same event this weekend.
“I hope both me and Petch wins on Saturday because I want to be the man who dethrones Petch”, Trindade said.
“I’ve been follow Petch since his Glory debut against Renita, many years ago, I’ve been always a big fan of him, so take his belt would be the achievement of a lifetime! I know I’ve got what it takes to beat him.”
