Iman Barlow remains Enfusion World champion after 8th defence in France

Enfusion -54kg World champion, Iman Barlow, successfully defended her title for the eighth time when she beat Delphine Quenon in France last night.

The Melton Mowbray fighter claimed her 101st career win beating the tricky southpaw, Delphine Quenon, after a five-round decision at the Davo Pevele Arena in Orchies, France.

Barlow, whose last Enfusion title defence was against Spain’s Lara Fernandez at Enfusion Newcastle in June last year, faced the the French southpaw fighter on just a few days noticed after numerous opponent changes.

Speaking with our reporters earlier today, Iman said;

“She was a tricky southpaw, but I stuck to the game plan and got a comfortable win. I’m just disappointed it wasn’t an entertaining fight, but a win is a win so I’m grateful.”
