ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka will make his second title defence against Malaysia’s Rifdean “Magic Boy” Masdor at ONE SAMURAI 4 on Saturday 17th October.
The bout takes place at the iconic Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan. It is one of three world title fights confirmed for the event.
Nadaka: A Champion on a Historic Run
Nadaka enters this fight on one of the most remarkable winning streaks in Muay Thai. The 25-year-old Japanese fighter from Eiwa Sports Gym has won 41 consecutive bouts.
He claimed the inaugural ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title last November. A surgical performance against Numsurin Chor Ketwina at ONE 173 earned him the belt. He then made his first defence at ONE SAMURAI 1 in April, outpointing longtime rival Songchainoi Kiatsongrit across five highly technical rounds.
Known for his blinding speed, southpaw precision, and defensive mastery, Nadaka has established himself as one of the most gifted Muay Thai fighters of the modern era. No opponent has found an answer to him in over seven years.
Rifdean Masdor: Malaysia’s Most Dangerous Finisher
Standing in his way is 23-year-old Malaysian striker Rifdean Masdor. He has been nearly flawless since joining ONE Championship, posting a record of 7 wins and 1 loss.
Masdor has won five consecutive bouts under the ONE banner. His finish rate stands at a staggering 71%.
He announced himself to the world with a dramatic first-round finish of Javad Mozafari at ONE Friday Fights 159 in June. That performance earned him a life-changing US$100,000 contract and a place on the global roster.
Now he arrives at ONE SAMURAI 4 one win away from becoming only the second ONE World Champion in Malaysian history. The first was newly crowned Interim ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Aliff Sor Dechapan.
ONE SAMURAI 4 takes place on Saturday 17th October at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
