ONE Championship has unveiled a trio of Muay Thai matchups for ONE Friday Fights 170 inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, September 11.
These battles will entertain fight fans in the lead-up to the explosive main event masterpiece between defending ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon and Thai challenger Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri.
Yonis Anane vs Ricardo Sanchez
First, the youngest-ever WBC Muay Thai world champion returns to action against fellow teenage star Ricardo Sanchez of Mexico. They collide in strawweight Muay Thai.
The Team Mehdi Zatout star returns to the ring in search of a statement after going down on the scorecards in two of his previous outings. Before that, Anane – younger brother to Nabil – smashed his way onto three memorable victories to instantly become a fan favorite.
Anane packs a diverse skill set and is always more than happy to turn the pressure on or fight at his foe’s pace. That well-rounded arsenal will certainly be put under the microscope against Sanchez.
The Mexican slugger is out to make it three straight wins in the promotion after a vicious first-round TKO against Ryuki Kawano and a unanimous decision win over Yanis Ben Alaya.
Another big win for the Silk Muay Thai man will see him close in on a US$100,000 main roster contract.
Kongchai Chanaidonmueang vs Ayad Albadr
Still in strawweight Muay Thai, Thai fighter Kongchai Chanaidonmueang goes toe-to-toe with Ayad Albadr in a battle between two proven finishers.
The 23-year-old Kongchai has been one of the most consistent performers on ONE Friday Fights. Over the past three years, the youngster has dished out several standout displays en route to a 12-6 promotional run.
He arrives at this fixture on a four-fight win streak, capped by a destructive first-round knockout of Valerii Strungari this past June. He is as dangerous as they come, but the same goes for the man looking to shut him down on September 11.
The Iraqi has emerged victorious in five successive fights after having a difficult start to life in the organization. Along the way, he’s bagged two first-round knockouts – and that finishing power of his will come in handy against someone of Kongchai’s caliber.
Yodlekpet Or Atchariya vs Mohamed Taoufyq
Third on the list is another guaranteed barnburner, a flyweight Muay Thai duel featuring Yodlekpet Or Atchariya and Mohamed Taoufyq.
The Thai southpaw’s trademark pressure and aggression have helped him put six opponents to sleep since his promotional debut at ONE Friday Fights 2 in January 2023. His journey in ONE Championship, however, has been far from smooth sailing. He endured a difficult stretch – two wins from five outings – between late 2023 and mid-2025.
Since then, he has rocked up with three statement performances, with a fourth potentially waiting in the offing. But it won’t come easy against the 21-year-old Moroccan dynamo.
Taoufyq heads into this flyweight tiff off a fine second-round knockout of Kaewkangwan Torfunfarm this past May. Both his other wins under the ONE spotlight also arrived in highlight-reel fashion.
