At just 20-years-old, Josh Hill has achieved quite a lot in his short career. Beginning his junior career in 2013, he then went to compete in Thailand numerous times before making his professional debut in the UK in 2018.
In 2019, Hill was one of the UK’s most active fighters, competing no less than 9 times across four different countries Worldwide.
Competing not only in the UK numerous times, he also traveled to compete in Thailand, Cambodia and Australia last year.
We spoke with him to ask him what his favourite memory is from his recent experiences travelling the World to compete.
Josh: “I’ve fought in some amazing countries and been lucky enough to fight on the biggest promotions in the world, but Cambodia was definitely the one that stands out.
“It was just amazing driving through the country on the 10-hour taxi ride from Bangkok.
“The two Ek Phnom Kun Khmer promoters, Miguel Meyer and Matias Andres, looked after me so well and the accommodation was amazing.
“The country was just great to experience and getting to fight as the main event on the show against such a good fighter was quite special.”
This epic win over Long Sophy could be considered Josh Hill’s biggest win of his career so far, with the experienced Cambodian competing at the highest level across his 150+ fight career, including bouts against Thai’s such as Pongsiri and Rambo Phet Por Tor Aor.
