Camilla Danielsson wins final at Swedish National Championships in Gothenburg

Odenplan Fightgym star Camilla Danielsson beat Moa Persson in the final of the Swedish National Muaythai Championships in Gothenburg this afternoon.

Danielsson once again took a gold medal to claim her fourth Swedish National championship and secure her spot to represent her country at this years IFMA World and European Championships.

The Odenplan Fightgym fighter Camilla, who now has 40 fights on her record, has started 2019 on a three-fight win streak and claimed her second Championship of the year after winning gold at the Baltic Muaythai Open back in February.

Having beat Team GB’s Leigh Newton in the semi-final at the Baltic Muaythai Open, a potential rematch could happen at either the IFMA World Championships in Bangkok in July and the European Championships in Marbella in November should Leigh be chosen to represent Team GB once again in 2019.
