David Sinclair To Face Rajadamnern Stadium Champion on Day 2 at IFMA World Championships

Monday, December 6 — The 2021 IFMA Muay Thai World Championships gets underway today in Bangkok, Thailand.

With thousands of Muay Thai athletes from almost 100 countries arriving in the Motherland, the IFMA Championships kicks off with live competition for the first time in more than two years.

Today, Ring A hosts more than 100 bouts across Youth, Under 23’s and Elite Adult weight categories.

Elite Muay Thai stars such as Capitan Petchyindee Academy, Superball Tded99 and many more all kick-off their campaigns for the gold at the National Stadium in Bangkok.

For Team GB, one of the biggest fights of the opening rounds will take place on Wednesday, as young Scotsman David Sinclair starts his Championships with a huge fight in the Elite Under 23’s 63.5kg division.

The Griphouse fighter will face Samingdet Nor.AnuwatGym in Bout #330 in Ring B on Wednesday, December 8.

As well as this, another huge opening fight for Team GB will be in the Elite 57kg category, where Thai Barlow faces another elite Thai.

He will face Channel 7 and Lumpinee Stadium champion, Mongkolchai Diamond98, in Bout #138 in ring B, on Tuesday, December 7.
