Amy Pirnie is a Scottish female Muay Thai fighter, known as one of the best pound-for-pound female Muay Thai fighters in the World.
She is an Enfusion Kickboxing World champion, ISKA Muay Thai World champion and Lion Fight World champion. She is also a former WBC Muaythai International champion, having beaten Barbara Bontempi for the title in November 2016.
As of July 2021, she remains unbeaten in 18 bouts which stretches all the way back to 2013. Throughout her career, she has shared the ring with some of the best female fighters in the World, including Dakota Ditcheva, Josefine Lindgren Knutsson, Lommanee Wor.Santai, Fanny Ramos and many more.
2019 was arguably the greatest year of her fighting career thus far. After switching to kickboxing rules, she defeated Silvia La Notte to win the ENFUSION 52kg World title in March 2019. She then defeated Swedish female Muay Thai fighter Sandra Godvik with a first round knockout to win the LION FIGHT Super-Flyweight World title at LION FIGHT 54. Four months later she successfully defended the LION FIGHT World title with a huge win over Lommanee Wor.Santai at LION FIGHT 59 in Gothernburg, Sweden. Finally, she finished the year with five straight wins when she also defended her ISKA Muay Thai World title against Tessa Kakkonen.
On 22nd August 2021, Amy Pirnie returned to the ring after almost two years out. She defended her Lion Fight Super-Flyweight World title for a second time when she faced Lara Fernandez in the main event at Lion Fight 68 Glasgow. She won the bout via split decision. The bout also earned the ‘fight of the night’ award.
