Featured fighter George Mouzakitis, who trains at Petchnoi in Northampton, flew out to Thailand recently where has been training alongside the Petchyindee team in Bangkok for the last few weeks ahead of his fight on the True4u show tomorrow night.

The current UK 63.5kg #4 Mouzakitis will make the 90-mile journey north of the Petchyindee Academy to fight on the True4u in Lopburi. When asked about the fight, George said, “So basically tomorrow is my trial fight to get sponsored at Petchyindee.”

Starting training in Muay Thai at the age of 6 in his home country of Greece, Mouzakitis instantly loved the sport and has never looked back. Now with 28 fights under his belt (view fight record) he is hungry to capture the UK 63.5kg top spot;

“My goal now is to get as many fights as I can out here then come back to get that UK #1 spot.”

With wins over Nico Carrillo, Spencer Brown, Josh Hill and more, Mouzakitis added, “I’ve already beaten all the up and coming big names, now it’s time to challenge the top 3 in my weight category; Nathan Bendon, Chris Shaw and Mo Abdurahman. I’m young and hungry, I’m learning a lot and I’m ready for any challenge.”
