GLORY Kickboxing returns to the Netherlands this weekend for GLORY COLLISION 8, one of the biggest kickboxing events of 2025. The promotion closes the year with a stacked card filled with elite heavyweights, rising contenders and two major tournament deciders.
The event takes place at the iconic GelreDome Arena in Arnhem, Netherlands. The card features two Last Heavyweight Standing wildcard bouts and the finals of the Light-Heavyweight and Welterweight Tournaments.

This is the third meeting between these heavyweight rivals. Each fighter holds a decision win over the other. Their first clash took place at GLORY 66 in Paris, with Plazibat winning. Mahieddine evened the score at GLORY 76 in 2020.
More drama surrounds this trilogy. Plazibat returns after two and a half years away through injury. Mahieddine steps in as a late replacement for Levi Rigters. The winner advances to the Last Heavyweight Standing final in February.

Simon is Australia’s strongest man turned fighter. He carries huge physical power and a fast rise through combat sports.
This fight brings a classic “veteran vs prospect” storyline. The winner also moves into the Last Heavyweight Standing final in February.
