Many gym owners were left bemused and disappointed after the latest speech from Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, earlier today, as he announced indoor gyms and leisure facilities were to remain closed.
Pubs, restaurants, cafes and other hospitality have been given the green light reopen, as well as cinemas, museums and galleries, yet the health and leisure industry still does not get the go-ahead, despite a relaxation on the 2m social distancing rule.
In the last hour, however, the HM Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, took to Twitter to clarify the position for gyms and leisure facilities;
