Last night, Iman Barlow secured another World title as she beat Czech Republic’s Michaela Kerlenova to win the WKA K1 World title and earn her 100th career victory at Assassins Night of Muay Thai in her hometown of Melton Mowbray.

After her previous opponent didn’t turn up to her last scheduled home show bout in 2018, Iman was left frustrated and without a fight in front of her home crowd.

Normally competing on the top shows around the World, it is a rare opportunity for her fans to see her in action in her hometown. Iman was determined to put on a memorable display for her fans and take away the WKA K1 World title and her 100th victory when she faced the Czech Kerlenova at the Market Tavern in Melton Mowbray last night.

When asked about how she feels after the win, Iman replied;

“I’m absolutely buzzing to win in my home town. I am so grateful to everyone that comes to support me throughout my journey. Every fight that I win is a dream come true.”

The multiple-time World Champion Barlow now adds the WKA K1 World title to her many other career accolades including World titles at leading World promotions Lion Fight and Enfusion.

Iman is next in action on 13th April on Enfusion in France.
