Reece: “Training has been great as always! I have the best team around me to get me through the tough sessions. I’m looking forward to the fight with Jacob.”

Have you worked on anything specific for this fight?

Reece: “I don’t really change the way I train too much as anything could happen on the night, but you’ll see the best version of myself this weekend at YOKKAO.”

How have you mentally prepared for this fight after coming off a couple of losses?

Reece: “Losing is apart of the fight game and sometimes it just isn’t your night, but I just get my head down and crack back on with training.”

Any message to your opponent?

Reece: “I hope you are ready Jacob Smith!”

Should you defend your #1 spot, who do you see challenging you or who would you like to fight next?

Reece: “Anyone! I’ve never turned down a fight and have never pulled out of a fight. I would love a rematch with Tam McCourt some time this year!”

How is the rest of the year looking? Any more fights in the pipeline?

Reece: “There’s a few things in the pipeline this year, but I can’t say too much about them at the moment! 😉
