First up for Sweden in Match 15 of Ring A, Camilla Danielsson kicks-off her Championships against Svetlana Spetsyan, the same fighter she beat in the final of the Baltic Open earlier this year.
After suffering defeat to Paola Jacqueline Gonzalez in the opening round of the IFMA World Championships in Bangkok earlier in the summer this year, Camilla will be looking to get back to winning ways and confident when she faces the Slovakian for the Belarusian Svetlana Spetsyan for the second time this year.
28-year-old Ewin Ates is back competing in the 60kg division at this years European Championships. After two stoppage wins in the opening rounds of the Baltic Open in Lithuania in February, Ewin claimed Silver in her category and will be hoping to go one step better when she faces 2019 IFMA World Silver medalist Darya Bialkova in the semi-finals on Day 3.
IFMA World Championships Silver medalist Emma Stonegård is next in Ring A. She faces Turkish fighter Bediha Tacyildiz in the semi-finals of the 67kg division, the same fighter who took the gold at the World Championships just three months ago.
Mamic was beaten 30-27 unanimously by Finland’s Anna Rantanen at the IFMA World Championships in Bangkok in the summer and will now face her nemesis in the semi-finals at the European Championships on Thursday.
