This weekend sees another exciting line-up for combat sports fans around the World. As well as a stacked schedule on the elite Muay Thai scene in Thailand, there is also three other mega events to look forward to.
ONE Championship return for the first in the ‘Fists of Fury series this coming Friday. On Saturday, Muay Thai Grand Prix host their next event in Perth, Western Australia. Finally, OKTAGON MMA stream a night of Muay Thai in 4oz MMA gloves featuring an epic eight-man tournament live from Czech Republic.

Wondergirl Fairtex vs Jackie Buntan
On Friday, Wondergirl Fairtex is set to make her third appearance in ONE Championship. She is set to face debutant Jackie Buntan, who was originally scheduled to make her ONE Debut against Amber Kitchen in March last year.
Coming off two knockout victories, Wondergirl Fairtex is the favourite for many fans. Her upcoming opponent however, is not one to be taken lightly.
Under the guidance of highly rated coach Bryan Popejoy, together with training alongside current ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World champion Janet Todd, rest assured Jackie Buntan will be well prepared for the challenge.
Luis Cajaiba vs Sorgraw Petchyindee Academy
Two of the very best -70kg fighters in Thailand are set to headline at World Siam Stadium in Bangkok this Sunday.
Both fighters’ last appearances were back in November. Sorgraw lost to Thananchai Sitsongpeenong at Muaymunwansuk. The week after, Luis Cajaiba defeated Guanyu AyothayaFightGym in the main event at Muay Thai Super Champ.
Prior to the Channel 8 appearance, Brazilian Luis Cajaiba had defeated Thailand’s Wanchalerm for the IMC World title at Rangsit Stadium in September.
George Mann vs David Pennimpede
Australia’s adopted Scotsman George Mann is back in action this weekend against domestic rival David Pennimpede.
Ranked at #4 and #6 respectively in the WBC Muaythai World rankings, this bout is set for the main event at MTGP Australia and is for the vacant WBC Muaythai Super-Middleweight International title.
Monika Chochlíková vs Klára Strnadová
Bellator MMA signed female fighter Monika Chochlíková is back under Muay Thai rules in 4oz MMA gloves this weekend.
Having made a successful OKTAGON debut back in June 2020, she is set to face debutant Klára Strnadová at the mega UNDG: LAST MAN STADNING event in Czech Republic this Saturday.

Rodtang is set to face Tagir Khalilov on his quest to ONE Championship two-sport gold. Superlek Kiatmoo9 gets his first opportunity at a ONE World title when he faces current ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World champion Ilias Ennahachi.
