More than two years since her last appearance, Allycia Rodrigues has confirmed her return to ONE Championship. The Brazilian was last seen back in August 2020, when she defeated former Atomweight Muay Thai champion, Stamp Fairtex.

- ONE Friday Fights 38: Full fight card, preview, live stream
- RWS Muay Thai full fight card for October 28
- RWS Muay Thai results: Daniel Rodriguez beats Sornkhaw via first round knockout
- Tawanchai vs Superbon rescheduled for December 8
It was later revealed Rodrigues has fallen pregnant and would take indefinite leave from the promotion. In an act of fairness, ONE Championship allowed the Brazilian to retain her newly crowned championship.
After giving birth just over a year ago, Allycia returned to training earlier this year. Earlier today, she revealed her return to ONE Championship. She posted an image of her signing a fight agreement which shows the ONE Championship logo at the header. The caption read, “Thank you my God for everything always. See you on December 3rd”.
Since Allycia’s maternity leave, Janet Todd has earned herself three straight victories under Muay Thai rules. In her last bout, she claimed the interim Atomweight Muay Thai World championship with a victory of Lara Fernandez.
Though it is not clear from the image who her opponent will be on her return, we can only assume it will be a unification bout against Janet Todd.
Despite Anissa Meksen and her fans calling for a title shot, it would make sense for the interim champion to face the current divisional champion on her return to the ONE Circle.
ONE Championship are yet to publicly announce the return of Allycia Rodrigues, however. So stay tuned to FightRecord.co.uk for all the latest on this story and more.
