Both Anthony Deary and Alfie Pearse were nominated in our Fight Record UK Fighter of the Year 2023, and for good reason.
Anthony Deary is known as one of the most talented youngsters on the British Muay Thai scene right now. In 2023, he went 5-0, winning the ISKA Muay Thai world title against Carlos Campos with a flawless performance.
Alfie Pearse has been on a tear over the last couple of years. Most of his fights have came in Thailand, where he has came up against some highly experienced opponents, defeating Adam Noi and narrowly losing to Rajadamnern Stadium champion Jom Parunchai.
Many experts in the sport have said his relentless pressure, level of experience and Muay Khao style may be too much for Anthony Deary to handle.
However, despite not competing at the same level as Pearse, the youngster from Liverpool is one of the most talented strikers Pearse has faced in his career.
