Cindy Silvestre is arguably one of the most active professional female fighters in Europe at the moment. Having competed no less than twenty-six times last year, the ‘French Cyborg’ is looking to continue her active streak as we enter the latter part of 2019.

After suffering three back-to-back losses to English opponents recently, Silvestre got back to winning ways with a strong win against Greek opponent Hara Dimitroula at Enfusion #87 in Darmstadt, Germany this past weekend.
After losses against top ranked UK fighters Sophie Hawkswell back in May, and Amy Pirnie at Blackpool Rebellion in June, the six-time World champion Cindy Silvestre then fought another UK opponent in Grace Spicer just a few weeks ago.
Though losing a split decision on the night, Cyborg and her French team believed she won the fight and the decision was given in favour of the home fighters. However, after a strong performance this weekend the result was never a doubt as she continued her impressive win streak under the Enfusion banner.
In a report last week, Cindy told us she wants to Enfusion gold at 52kg or 54kg. The champion at 54kg is UK’s Iman Barlow, who coincidentally is Cindy’s next opponent on Iman’s home show in Melton Mowbray on 12th October.
Although the Enfusion title will not be contested in October, should the French fighter beat seven-time Enfusion champion Iman Barlow, it will surely put her in the mix for a shot at either the vacant 52kg title or a rematch with Barlow under Enfusion rules.
