Dam Parunchai successfully defended his Rajadamnern Stadium Super-Lightweight World Championship for the fifth time, defeating Capitan Petchyindee in the main event of Rajadamnern World Series on Saturday 8th August at Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The victory earned Dam a 1,000,000 Thai Baht performance bonus, equivalent to approximately $30,000 USD.

A Champion in Dominant Form

Dam Parunchai has established himself as the defining force in the Super-Lightweight division at Rajadamnern Stadium. The 24-year-old southpaw from Parunchai Gym in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, carries a professional record of 89 wins and 9 losses and is widely regarded as one of the most technically gifted fighters competing in the division today.

His reign as Rajadamnern Stadium Super-Lightweight champion has been built on consistent, composed performances against the division’s best challengers. Saturday’s victory over Capitan Petchyindee was his fifth successful title defence, cementing his status as the dominant champion of the 140-pound division at one of Muay Thai’s most prestigious venues.
