Daniel Rodriguez Beats Hercules to Retain Rajadamnern Stadium Title

Daniel Rodriguez beats Hercules at RWS Muay Thai

The ‘Chosen One’ is still very much on his throne.

Daniel Rodriguez retained his Rajadamnern Stadium Super-Welterweight World Title at RWS April Inferno on Saturday night. The Swiss champion stopped Hercules Phetsimean in the fourth round at Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok.

Rodriguez in Control Throughout

Rodriguez was composed and clinical from the opening bell. He applied relentless forward pressure, picking apart Hercules with sharp combinations throughout.

Herclues is a two-time Rajadamnern Stadium champion in his own right, and he made it competitive. But Rodriguez was simply operating at a different level. The finish came in round four, with the champion forcing the stoppage to seal another dominant title defence.

Cementing His Legacy

Daniel Rodriguez first claimed the Rajadamnern Super-Welterweight belt in 2022. Since then, he has been virtually untouchable at the weight.

With this victory, he continues to build a strong case as one of the most dominant non-Thai champions in Rajadamnern Stadium history.

Whoever steps up next in the Super-Welterweight division has their work cut out. Rodriguez isn’t just holding the belt. He’s making it look easy.
