The Petchyindee Academy fighter left Thailand amid the COVID outbreak and returned home to Cyprus.
In a stroke of back luck for Savvas, fights in Thailand would resume in the coming months, but due to border closures, he was unable to return to Thailand.
He now gets his chance to return to action when he takes on Belgian Hachim Moujtahid in less than three weeks.
