The UK’s Hollie Bowness will make her RWS Muay Thai debut on January 17. The PR team at RWS Muay Thai sent the fight news last week and allowed us to released the exclusive news. Though we can’t reveal the opponent yet, we can confirm the official date of Hollie and George’s RWS Muay Thai debuts.
Hollie Bowness, who is currently ranked #3 in the UK Muay Thai Rankings Super-Flyweight division, is 12-1 in her fight career, with her only loss coming to current UK Bantamweight #1 Danielle Butler.
Over the past few years, she’s proven to be one of the top prospects at Super-Flyweight and Bantamweight. She’s beaten many international names, and most recently defeated Petchphupan via knockout on LWC Superchamp at Lumpinee Stadium.
George Mouzakitis to make RWS Muay Thai debut
On the same day, Hollie’s partner George Mouzakitis will also make his RWS Muay Thai debut.
The RWS Muay Thai team informed us they were keen to get both George Mouzakitis and Hollie Bowness on the same card. With Mouzakitis already in Phuket and Hollie heading out for a 4 month spell, the matchmakers were able to make it happen.
After a brief spell in 4oz gloves, Mouzakitis returned to the UK to face Damien Alamos, beating the legend in a highly-technical battle earlier this year.
After spending the majority of the year nursing an injury and a disappointing loss to Mo Abdurahman, he’s now looking to kick off the new year with a bang on the global stage.
