The biggest Muay Thai fight in ONE Championship history goes down on September 22. Rodtang and Superlek are finally set to meet at ONE Friday Fights 34.
The pair of Muay Thai superstars have been on a collision course for years.
It’s no secret that they are very close friends. Their friendship left many fans questioning whether they would ever fight.
They were scheduled to face each other under Kickboxing rules back at ONE Fight Night 8 on March 23, 2023. However, due to unknown reasons, Rodtang failed to make weight. Superlek instead fought Danial Williams where he successfully defend his ONE Flyweight Kickboxing world title.
Now the pair will meet, but this time it’s scheduled under Muay Thai rules. It will also be for Rodtang’s ONE Flyweight Muay Thai world title. An accolade he has held since defeating Jonathan Haggerty back in August 2019.
Other than Superlek’s 11-1 record, Rodtang is the only athlete with a better resume in ONE Super Series. The Flyweight champion has amassed 14 straight victories under Muay Thai and Kickboxing rules. Albeit that omits the mixed-rules special bout, where he lost via submission to Demetrious Johnson in March 2022.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon will now defend his ONE Flyweight Muay Thai title for a sixth time. He will finally meet Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE Friday Fights 34 on Friday, September 22.
