Northern King’s man Joe Welch booked his ticket to Canada with a knockout win in tonight’s ‘Road to ONE’ UK final.

After stopping Mateusz Sarwuta in the semi-final back in February, Joe Welch came up against Nathaniel Kalogiannidis in tonight’s tournament final.
After starting the opening round sharp, southpaw Welch got caught with a big punch which dropped him for an eight count.
Despite being in control, Welch found himself down on the scorecards after the first round.
With a sense of urgency, the Northern King’s man came out quicker in the second round, closing down his opponent with inside low kicks.
After a quick exchange, Welch caught Kalogiannidis with a flash right hook which knocked the Kao Loi fighte outcold.
Joe Welch won the bout via knockout and now advances on to Canada later this year.
Welch will be one of four fighters competing in the finals, where the eventual winner will earn a six-figure contact with global martial arts giants, ONE Championship.
