The story behind the fight
Ghazali and Ondash go back years. The pair have known each other since junior tournaments in Southeast Asia and grew up on the amateur circuit together. When Ondash finished off veteran Suriyanlek Por Yenying in the main event of The Inner Circle on May 29, 2026 to make a winning flyweight debut, he called out Ghazali on the microphone. ONE Championship confirmed the matchup shortly after.
It’s a fight with real title-picture implications. The flyweight Muay Thai division has been through significant change in 2026, and a decisive win here would push the victor squarely into the top-contender conversation at 135 lb.
Johan “Jojo” Ghazali form guide
Malaysian-American Johan Ghazali (born 14 November 2006) trains out of Rentap Muaythai Gym and Superbon Training Camp in Thailand. He signed a six-figure ONE Championship contract at 16 — the youngest to do so — and made his promotional debut in December 2023 with a 16-second knockout at ONE Fight Night 17.
His overall Muay Thai record is 27-9 with a finish rate around 67%, and his ONE run has featured brutal knockouts and hard-fought decisions in equal measure. Recent form: TKO of Zakaria El Jamari at ONE Fight Night 35 (September 2025), a unanimous-decision win over Ye Yint Naung at ONE Friday Fights 141 in February 2026, and a decision loss to Shimon Yoshinari earlier in his 2026 campaign. Prior to that streak, he suffered back-to-back decision losses to Diego Paez and Johan Estupinan in 2025 before joining Superbon’s Bangkok camp to sharpen the technical side of his game.
Ramadan “The Scorpion” Ondash form guide
Lebanese striker Ramadan Ondash, 19, trains out of Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket. He is the younger brother of ONE Championship signee Abdallah Ondash and has quickly built a highlight-heavy reputation of his own. He went 4-1 across his first five ONE Championship outings at strawweight, with his only loss a unanimous decision to Aliff Sor Dechapan — the current ONE Interim Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion — at ONE Fight Night 38 in December 2025.
Ondash moved up to flyweight for the first time in May 2026 and delivered an immediate statement, dropping Suriyanlek Por Yenying in the second round and outworking the Thai veteran to a unanimous decision in a Muay Thai main event at Lumpinee Stadium. He now returns to the same venue for his second flyweight test — and the callout fight he asked for on the microphone.
What’s on the line
Neither fighter carries a belt into the July 31 clash, but the stakes are high all the same. Both are 19, both are teen prospects who have grown up in the same amateur system, and both are on the fast track through ONE Championship’s flyweight Muay Thai division. A decisive win here reshapes the top-contender conversation at 135 lb and makes the victor an immediate name to watch for a 2026 or 2027 world title shot.
Johan Ghazali vs Ramadan Ondash takes place on Friday, July 31, 2026 at The Inner Circle 24, live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. Watch live on live.onefc.com.
