ONE Friday Fights returns for another action-packed night of Muay Thai at Lumpinee Stadium. ONE LUMPINEE 15 goes down this Friday, May 5.
Every single week the ONE Friday Fights cards are getting better and better. Last week saw another crazy night of action and this week is sure to be just as exciting.
Josh Hill vs Satanfah
The Fight Record UK Muay Thai Fighter of the Year 2022, Josh Hill, will return to the Lupinee stage this weekend. He will make his second appearance on ONE LUMPINEE when he takes on former WBC MuayThai world champion Satanfah Sitsongpeenong. The pair will meet in a 157lbs Catchweight Muay Thai contest in bout #4 on the card.
Josh Hill made his first appearance at ONE LUMPINEE back in January. On that occasion he faced tough Iranian Keivan Soleimani and won the bout via unanimous decision. He’s now set to face Satanfah, who will be making his first appearance in ONE Championship.
Back in 2019, Satanfah defeated Australian Chadd Collins to win the WBC MuayThai world title. He would subsequently lose the title to Yodwicha Por.Boonsit on February 2020.
Most recently, Satanfah was seen competing in the Super-Welterweight tournament at Rajadamnern World Series in 2022. He suffered a devastating first-round knockout loss to undefeated star Daniel Rodriguez in the semi-final.
Interestingly, while Josh Hill is in Thailand, he trains at Sinbi MuayThai, the same gym as Daniel Rodriguez. So could we see him adopt a similar strategy to Daniel’s success against Satanfah?
