The UK’s Lisa Brierley made her second appearance in ONE Championship today. She faced Francisca Vera in a 112lbs Muay Thai bout at ONE LUMPINEE 14.
On March 4, Lisa Brierley made her first appearance at ONE LUMPINEE. On that occasion, she dismissed Rungnapa Por.Muangpetch via knockout in the first round.
Chilean-Spanish fighter, Francisca “Miss Scarface” Vera, was also successful in her ONE LUMPINEE debut. She defeated Gusjung Fairtex on February 10.
The pair met in the third bout on the ONE Friday Fights card at Lumpinee Stadium on April 28.
Brierley came out swinging early, landing numerous left kicks and following up with punch combinations.
Through the rounds, both fighters found success in their boxing. Neither fighter backed down, both swinging vicious combinations from the first to the last bell. However, it was the Brit, Lisa Brierley, who was the slightly more active in her volume of striking and took the unanimous decision victory.
Brierley now moves to 2-0 in ONE Championship and she also solidifies her spot as #2 in the WMO MuayThai world rankings.
