Thursday, September 29 — Earlier today, ONE Championship released the final weight check and hydration results for ONE 161.
ONE 161 will be headlined by a huge world title bout. Current ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World champion, Petchmorakot (เพชรมรกต) will defend his title against Tawanchai (ตะวันฉาย).
Elsewhere, Muay Thai striking superstar, Ferrari Fairtex, will make his ONE Championship debut. He was scheduled to face Han Zi Hao in Bantamweight Muay Thai contest. However, the Chinese fighter came in a whopping 4kg overweight. He immediately forfeits 30% of his purse to Ferrari Fairtex and the fight will now be a Featherweight contest.
