Saturday, September 30 — ONE Championship hosted another night of epic martial arts action. ONE Fight Night 14 brought the roof of the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The card featured 10 huge martial arts bouts, including a triple-header of world title collisions.
Stamp Fairtex becomes three-sport champion
In the main event, Stamp Fairtex made history by becoming a three-sport world champion. After reigning as the Muay Thai and Kickboxing champion back in 2020, Stamp Fairtex switched her focus to MMA.
Since the switch, she has gone 11-2 in MMA. She won the Atomweight World Grand Prix in December 2021 before losing a title bout to Angela Lee in March 2022.
After Angela Lee took some time out, Stamp climbed her way back to the top of the title challengers. She would then face Ham Seo Hee for the interim Atomweight crown at ONE Fight Night 14. She won the bout via third-round stoppage.
After Angela Lee announced her retirement earlier in the night, she would then present Stamp Fairtex with the title. A moment that was almost like passing the torch to the new champion.
Smilla Sundell retains Muay Thai crown against Allycia Rodrigues
In the other featured bout, the phenom Smilla Sundell retained her Strawweight Muay Thai crown.
Originally scheduled the face Jackie Buntan in a rematch, Buntan was forced to withdraw last month. Current Atomweight Muay Thai champion, Allycia Rodrigues stepped up in weight in an attempt to become a two-weight champion.
