Abdulla Dayakaev knocks out Nontachai in 24 seconds
Dangerous Russian Muay Thai fighter Abdulla Dayakaev, who is ranked #5 in the Bantamweight Muay Thai division, made a move to Featherweight for this one.
It took him just 24 seconds to snap the win streak of Nontachai and earn a $50,000 bonus from Chatri Sityodtong.
Allycia Rodrigues retains Atomweight crown against Johanna Persson
Reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai world champion, Allycia Rodrigues, made her second title defence of the year in the main event at ONE Fight Night 33. This time she welcomed WBC Muay Thai World champion, Johanna Persson.
Starting off in her typical slow fashion, Rodrigues countered Persson’s high-volume striking with well-timed teeps and kicks.
As the rounds went on, she started shifting up the gears and in the third round she dropped her opponent with a left hook. Johanna Persson answered the count but she was visibility dazed and it wasn’t long before she hit the canvas again, with referee Olivier Coste waving off the fight.
