Every week is fight week at Fight Record, but this week is mega fight week, with two of the UK’s elite promotions treating us to two epic fight cards this Saturday.
A massive 25 of the UK’s finest Muay Thai athletes are all in action this weekend around the country. Here’s a preview of some of the Thai Fighter UK Top 10 ranked fighters compete this weekend.
YOKKAO 47 & 48
Two UK #1 spots are on the line at the Macron Stadium in Bolton this weekend, as YOKKAO bring yet another epic fight card to the North of the UK.
Current Middleweight #1 Joe Craven, will take on #6 Niall Brown in one of the featured fights of the night at YOKKAO 48, and newly crowned Super-Welterweight #1 Jack Cooper, defends his spot against 2019’s most active fighter Josh Hill.
Former Welterweight #1, Liam Harrison, is back on UK soil for the first time in almost two-years when he faces Khyzer Hayat.
Other names on the card include Super-Featherweight #1 Dean James, female Lightweight #1 Niamh Kinehan, Lightweight #3 Adam Haslam, #4 Simon Forrest and #6 Anton Austin amongst many more.

MTGP 34
In the main event at MTGP 34 this weekend, current UK Welterweight #6 Liam Mcgrandles, who won the WBC Muaythai European and International title last year, will get his first chance at World championship gold when he faces tough Thai Changpuak Pongtong for the MTGP World title.
In the co-main event, Light-Heavyweight #1 Dan Edwards also gets a shot at MTGP World gold and female Flyweight #2 Dani Fall faces an Italian opponent for the MTGP Intercontinental title.
Elsewhere, Super-Lightweight #8 Wojtek Oleksyk makes a comeback after almost a year out of the ring, and current Light-Cruiserweight #5 Sam Brown makes the move down to Super-Middleweight to face Charlie O’Neill for the MTGP British title.
