Rhona Walker: UK Flyweight #1
In the main event, current UK 52.5kg #1 Rhona Walker will face 2 x ISKA World Champion and 3 x Norwegian Champion, Anne-Line Hogstad of Frontline Muay Thai in Oslo.
After cementing her place as one of the best Flyweight’s in the UK when she stopped Jenna Ross at POS 28 back in May, Rhona Walker recently flew out to Thailand where she took a fight at Bangla Stadium, narrowly losing out to tough Brazilian fighter Allycia Hellen Araujo.
Her opponent this weekend, Norwegian Anne-Line Hogstad is also coming off a loss after a defeat to eventual silver-medallist Coral Carnicella of USA at the 2019 IFMA World Championships in Bangkok last month.
Both fighters will be determined to get back to winning ways and prove they are the best in European when they contest for the ICO European title at Science of 8 this Saturday.
Mhairi Strain: UK Featherweight #4
In the co-main event, Bad Company’s former ranked Tamara Fallon will face the current 57kg #4 Mhairi Strain.
After dropping out of the Thai Fighter UK rankings due to inactivity under Muay Thai rules for more than 12-months, Fallon was removed from the rankings and will be looking to get straight back in the mix when she faces Douglas Muay Thai’s Mhairi Strain this weekend.
Corey McLachlan: UK Featherweight #7
Corey McLachlan, who is ranked #7 at 57.1kg, will face Jack Nunn this weekend.
After moving up a division and beating #8 Joe Turner to win the WTKA British title at Blackpool Rebellion back in June, the Griphouse prodigy is on a strong win-streak and will be full of confidence when he faces upcoming, talented fighter Jack Nunn at Science of 8 this Saturday.
