Rajadamnern World Series returns for a huge night of Muay Thai action this Saturday.
After the success of the “World Cup” style tournament in 2022, RWS Muay Thai are hosting another set of championship tournaments again this Spring/Summer.
Men’s Super-Lightweight Tournament
Four of Thailand’s best 63.5kg Muay Thai fighters are all in action this weekend. Nuenglanlek, Chujaroen, Capitan and Petchuthong are all included in the Super-Lightweight tournament.
Capitan PetchyindeeAcademy is set to take on fellow-Thai Sakulchailek in his first bout of Group A. The other three all face foreign opposition. Interestingly, Capitan holds victories of both Nuenglanlek and Chujaroen in the past two months, but can he repeat that in the championship tournament?
Women’s Bantamweight Tournament
The Women’s Bantamweight tournament is set to kick-off on this week’s Rajadamnern World Series event. Four female Muay Thai fighters from Group A will go head-to-head in the final bouts of the card.
Spain’s Paloma Arranz, who now trains at Phuket Fight Club, will take on Jitti SorSor.Chiangmai in the final bout. Right before that, Kamlaipetch PetchyindeeAcademy will face Sevgi Dogan of VenumMuayThai gym in the other 118lbs contest.
