Two-sport ONE World Champion Stella “Always Hungry” Hemetsberger makes the first defence of her ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title against Russian knockout artist Natalia “Karelian Lynx” Diachkova in the main event of ONE Fight Night 46 on Friday 14th August.
The high-stakes world title clash takes place live in US primetime from Bangkok’s historic Lumpinee Stadium, streaming on Prime Video.
Hemetsberger: Austria’s First Two-Sport ONE World Champion
Stella Hemetsberger‘s rise to the top of women’s striking has been one of the most remarkable stories in combat sports over the past year.
The 27-year-old Austrian arrived on the ONE Friday Fights series and needed just three consecutive victories to earn a US$100,000 main roster contract. She wasted no time turning that opportunity into history.
In the main event of ONE Fight Night 35 in September 2025, Hemetsberger captured the vacant ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title with a unanimous decision victory over Jackie Buntan at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. The Austrian entered as an underdog against the division’s reigning kickboxing queen, but became the first Austrian fighter to hold a ONE World Championship belt.
Five months later, Hemetsberger returned to face Buntan again — this time for the ONE Women’s Strawweight Kickboxing World Title at ONE Fight Night 40 in February 2026. Hemetsberger defeated Buntan via split decision to add kickboxing gold to her Muay Thai crown.
That victory placed her alongside Stamp Fairtex and Janet Todd as only the third woman in ONE Championship history to hold titles across two striking disciplines.
Diachkova: Russia’s Most Dangerous Finisher
Natalia Diachkova earned her nickname “Karelian Lynx” early in her Muay Thai career after winning a tournament in which she defeated three opponents in one day. Two years later, she won the Russian National Adult Championship at just 16 years old.
By the time she landed in Pattaya, Thailand, at the famed Team Mehdi Zatout fight camp, she had already built a reputation back home. ONE Championship came calling in 2023, where she began competing under the ONE Friday Fights banner.
Making her promotional debut in April 2023, Diachkova scored four straight wins under the ONE Championship banner, with three of those fights ending in the first round. That run earned her a six-figure contract and a shot at the world title.
Her first world title opportunity came against Smilla Sundell at ONE Fight Night 22. Sundell defeated Diachkova by technical knockout in the second round, the only blemish on her promotional record. She has responded with two statement victories since. Most recently, Diachkova needed just 77 seconds to knock out Thai Fight star Fahsai in May 2026, underlining why she remains such a dangerous assignment.
What’s at Stake
Hemetsberger has built her championship run on five-round composure rather than single moments. Her ability to close out longer fights has separated her from the rest of the strawweight division.
Diachkova‘s four knockouts inside the distance mark her as one of the division’s most explosive strikers. If she can replicate the finishing power she has shown throughout her ONE career, she arrives with a genuine chance of ending Hemetsberger’s reign early.
Two champions who took almost identical paths to the top of the division now meet for the biggest prize in women’s Muay Thai. On 14th August at Lumpinee Stadium, one of those paths ends.
