‘El Matador’ continued his epic win streak with another victory at ONE Friday Fights 27. Stephen Irvine went 2-0 in ONE after a knockout win over Panthep VK Khaoyai.
The win extends his unbeaten streak to 13 fights which stretches back all the way to December 2018.
Panthep is a multiple-time Lumpinee Stadium and Channel 7 Stadium champion. The victory solidifies Stephen Irvine‘s spot as one of the top contenders in the Strawweight division.
Originally scheduled to face Yothin, the Muay Thai legend withdraw due to contractual agreements with Rajadamnern World Series. A last minute change meant Irvine had to figure his opponent out without any preparation, and that he did.
Dropping the Channel 7 Stadium champion three times in the second round, ‘El Matador’ earned his second straight knockout win at ONE Friday Fights.
