For the fifth year in a row, the IFMA and European Muaythai Federation (EMF) return to Lithuania for the Baltic Muaythai Open on the 1st-3rd February 2019 in Vilnius.
Earlier this year, the Baltic Muaythai Open 2018 had 140 participants from 12 countries (Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Belarus, Lithuania, Poland, Ireland, Great Britain, Slovakia, Israel, Germany, Netherlands), and next year the EMF expect even more participants.
UKMF representative and Team GB coach, Tommy Collins of Maryport Dragons said;
“This is the biggest team the UKMF have sent to the Baltic Open in Lithuania. It’s a really tough tournament and will be supported by teams from Russia, Belarus, Poland, Finland and Sweden to name a few.”
Team GB will be taking 18 competitors to the Championships in February, with top UK names such as David Sinclair and Corey McLachlan of Griphouse, UKMF Junior English champion Ryan Stockley, 2017 Youth World Championships Gold-Medallist Joe Ryan and 2018 IFMA World Championships competitor Leigh Newton amongst the list of top talent representing Team GB at the 2019 Baltic Muaythai Open.
Joining Tommy on the coaching team in Lithuania will be other top UK coaches such as Mark Cuggy, Karl Ryan, Michael Tekyi, Bad Company‘s Richard Smith as well as Phoenix Thai Boxing head coach Gaz McAllister and more!

22nd Nov – 29th Nov 2019
Marbella, Spain
The team that is picked for World Championships in Bangkok will be the same team that goes to Marbella.
