The WBC Muaythai recently published their latest update of their World rankings which includes more than 30 UK athletes.
A new entry into the World’s elite Top 20 sees current UK #1 Ellis Barboza enter the Bantamweight rankings at #20.
The Corefit UK fighter took to social media earlier today to express his delight with the news;
Usually fighting above his natural fight weight of 52kg, Ellis competes in the Bantamweight division due to a lack of domestic competition at Flyweight. However, with a WBC Muaythai Top 20 spot now on his résumé, this will opens doors to challenge the best Flyweight’s at European and World level.
