A few weeks ago, it was revealed UK Muay Thai rising star, Alfie Ponting, had signed a deal to make his ONE Championship debut on the Lumpinee / Friday Fights events.
Today, ONE Championship revealed the full fight card for next week’s ONE Friday Fights 73.
Alfie Ponting vs Sonrak Fairtex confirmed for ONE Friday Fights 73
Alfie Ponting will face Sonrak Fairtex in a Flyweight Muay Thai bout at ONE Friday Fights 73 on August 2.
Sonrak Fairtex, who is 2-4 in ONE, got back to winning ways in his last bout.
After four-straight losses on ONE Friday Fights in 2023, he kicked off 2024 with a win over Japan’s Masaya Katsuno in March.
He’ll welcome Alfie Ponting to Lumpinee Stadium next week, but he’ll face a difficult challenge against the youngster from MASDA Gym in Liverpool.
