Multi-time WBC Muay Thai world champion Selina Flores is out to make it two triumphs in succession under the ONE Championship banner in her return at ONE Fight Night 47.
The 28-year-old’s atomweight Muay Thai battle against former three-sport ONE world champion Stamp Fairtex headlines the American primetime card inside Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, September 4.
In her promotional debut, the Premier Fight & Fitness representative acquired a unanimous decision win over Marie McManamon.
She is ready to tap into her world-class arsenal to seal another big win here. In fact, Flores is extremely confident she can be the first fighter to knock Stamp out under Muay Thai rules. She shared:
“I can finish Stamp. I think Stamp’s human. Although she’s such a big star, she’s still human. There are still instances where she’s breaking.”
Flores’ analysis comes from her extensive study of the Thai’s two previous outings. Stamp returned to the ONE spotlight late last year after a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to an injury. She lost to Kana in November 2025 and rebounded with a split-decision win over Cynthia Flores in June this year.
Per the American, she’s already bookmarked how she will wrap the night – though she prefers to keep the exact method to victory a secret. She continued:
“I saw it when she fought Kana. I saw it when she fought Cynthia. I’ve studied those fights endlessly. I’ve never been finished either, but I think that everyone’s breakable. It just takes the right set of skills, and I think I’m capable of doing that.”
Flores wants the best version of Stamp to show up at ONE Fight Night 47
Flores has thought plenty about the kind of opponent she wants standing across from her on fight night. For her, the value of this win depends heavily on the answer.
She has no interest in beating a fighter still finding her footing after time away, and it shows in how she talks about the matchup. The 28-year-old added:
“I am expecting the best version of Stamp. Whether people think she’s better before or whatever, I don’t really care about that. I am preparing for the sharpest, best, quickest, and most technical version of Stamp. I’m preparing for that because that’s what I want. When I beat her, I don’t want excuses like ‘She’s not the same Stamp.'”
If she secures the win over the former three-sport queen, there’s only one name Flores has her sights on: ONE women’s atomweight Muay Thai world champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues.
However, if the opportunity doesn’t come right away, the American will be happy to build her case for a shot at the divisional gold. She shared:
“If I can step in, I’ll be ready to step in. But if it doesn’t happen until next year, then I’ll be ready the following year. It’ll give me more time to get even better for the title shot.”
