The ‘King of the North’ Nico Carrillo returns after a six month injury lay-off this weekend at ONE Fight Night 23.
Nico Carrillo has gone 3-0 in his ONE Championship tenure thus far. After beating former Bantamweight champion Nong-O in his last fight back in December 2023, he suffered a broken hand which kept him out of action.
Now fully recovered, he’s ready to pick up where he left off and defend his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai #1 rank against challenger Saemapetch Fairtex.
Saemapetch has had a mixed bag of results during his ONE Championship career. He notched up 14 fights under the promotion, with a modest 9 victories. Interestingly, all 5 of his losses have came by way of knockout.
