This is a rematch with history behind it. Dedduanglek and Kongsuk have met before — Dedduanglek came out on top by unanimous decision at ONE Friday Fights 35 back in September 2023. Two and a half years later, both fighters are in considerably better shape than they were that night.
Dedduanglek is 23 years old, already on the main roster, and has back-to-back wins over Cyber Sor Tienpo and Sonrak Fairtex behind him. He is not here to collect a contract — he is here to build toward something bigger. A clean performance against a decorated opponent like Kongsuk does exactly that.
Kongsuk is the more intriguing story heading into Friday. The 25-year-old retooled his approach to fight with significantly more aggression and the results have been immediate.
