The highly anticipated Muay Thai clash between Tawanchai and Superbon is back on. They will clash for the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai title at ONE Fight Night 17 on December 8.
The bout was originally scheduled to take place on October 6 at ONE Fight Night 15. However, Superbon suffered injury and was forced to withdraw just two weeks away from fight night. With no other challenger available, Tawanchai fought Jo Nattawut under Kickboxing rules instead.
After the victory over Jo Nattawut, Tawanchai told sources he only had one thing on his mind — to finally meet Superbon under Muay Thai rules.
“There’s no one else on my list or my mind right now. I only want to finish my fight with Superbon once and for all.”

Tawanchai vs Superbon
The ‘Left Star’ gets his wish and will defend his Muay Thai crown against the former Kickboxing king on December 8.
For Superbon, it will be the first time competing under Muay Thai rules in his ONE Championship tenure. Since beating Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong under Kickboxing rules in 2020, Superbon has gone 4-1 in ONE Championship.
His stunning head kick knockout victory to win the Featherweight Kickboxing crown was almost two-years-ago to the day. He would go on to defend the title against Marat Grigorian before losing to Chingiz Allazov in January this year.
Another signature head kick knockout win over Tayfun Ozcan put him back into title contention. However, he now switches his focus to Muay Thai rules, where he challenges compatriot — and reigning champion — Tawanchai PK Saenchai.
