After Hayden Armstrong released a statement about his upcoming bout yesterday, his opponent this weekend, Reiss Holden Payton, fired back with a statement of his own.
Reiss, of Salford Striking Academy, started training in Muay Thai because he wanted to believe he was capable of achieving something good in life.
Now the 2018 YOKKAO Open Champion and challenging one of the UK’s top youngsters, Reiss is confident he can make it to the to of the game.
“Trust me, this will be a war”, Reiss said.
“This will be a tough fight no doubt, but I am ready and fully prepared for this. No stepping back, no backing down.”
“I’m ready to make my statement to everyone.”
These two top UK talented youngsters face each other on the undercard of the 2 Brothers Stand Your Ground 8 fight card taking place in Merseyside this Saturday.
