This week’s RWS Muay Thai event is a special one. Not only does it feature Buakaw vs Han Wenbao and a Superfight title bout between Khunsueklek and Wanchainoi, but it’s also the celebration of eight decades of the legendary stadium.
Established in 1945, Rajadamnern Stadium enters it’s 80th year of existence next week. As a celebration, Rajadamnern Stadium and RWS Muay Thai have made some big changes, including the removal of the iconic ‘chess-board’ lighting above the ring.
This weekend, they promise an immersive experience as they showcase the new dome projection for the very first time.
The ‘R80’ RWS Muay Thai event goes down this Saturday, December 21, at the usual time of 7:15PM ICT (Thailand) / 12:15PM GMT (UK).
