The first-ever Road to Rajadamnern takes place on Saturday, December 16. MASDA Fight Night presents a night of historical Muay Thai action at the Ofiveone Complex in Liverpool.
There will be some intriguing international bouts as well as a packed card of huge domestic clashes, featuring many of the best and upcoming Muay Thai fighters the UK has to offer.
The Rajadamnern Stadium committee have teamed up with promoter Alex Forman to host the first ever Road to Rajadamnern in the UK. This means there’s a huge opportunity for every fighter on the card to be noticed by the promoters at RWS Muay Thai and potentially secure a fight at Rajadamnern Stadium in 2024.
Who’s fighting at Road to Rajadamnern?

If you’re a fan of RWS Muay Thai, the young British prospect Alfie Ponting will be no stranger. He made his RWS debut back in September, where he defeated Yodkhunsuek via second round stoppage. Since then, Alfie Ponting also secured the WBC MuayThai European title with a victory in Barcelona.
He’ll now face ISKA British champion Romain Gilbert. Training out of Sabaidee Muay Thai Academy in London, Romain has proven himself as another upcoming star on the domestic scene in recent years.
The pair will meet for the ISKA European title with Alfie Ponting’s Thai Fighter UK #8 spot also at stake.
Jack Maguire returns to action
Former UK top 10 ranked Jack Maguire will return to action after a long layoff. With more than 50 fights to his name, has shared the ring with the best of the best. He’s faced many of the top ranked athletes in the UK and is always involved in an entertaining fight.
After a brief spell at Kiatphontip in Leeds, Maguire is back in his hometown of Liverpool, training with the team at MASDA Gym and is ready to prove he still belongs up there with the best in his weight category.
He’ll take on Irishman Tom Keogh in a 70kg International bout. The Dublin man, who trains under Cian Cowley at Warriors Gym, recently won the P1 tournament at Petchbuncha Stadium in Koh Samui, Thailand.
We also have a huge international bout to look forward to, as undefeated home favourite, Anthony Deary, takes on two-time WBC Spanish and International champion, Carlos Campos.
Twelve months ago, Deary looked in incredible form, taking out WBC world top #20 ranked Soufian Ben Zerrouk in a 57kg clash. Now a WBC British and International champion, Deary will look to prove himself at world level when he faces Carlos Campos for the ISKA Lightweight World title.
There’s also two huge female Muay Thai fights on the card. In another world title bout, Liverpool’s Becky Caslin will welcome WBC National champion Daniela Miranda. They are set to clash for the 53.5kg ISKA World title. Also, MASDA’s Emma Usher will be in action on her adopted homeshow, as she takes on mutiple-time Spanish and World champion, Paula ‘Pretty Killer’ Silva of Boonchuay gym in Barcelona.
UK Bantamweight #1 Alex Kenton is also on the main card. After a narrow loss to Ellis Barboza on the last MASDA show, he’s back to prove he’s still the best Bantamweight on the domestic scene when he welcomes Michael Boatwright.
