Today, RWS Muay Thai revealed the full fight card for the next event on Saturday, September 23.

The card will feature 8 Muay Thai bouts, including a Rajadamnern Stadium Middleweight title. Also on the card will be two of the UK’s most talented youngsters.

After his impressive RWS debut last month, the UK’s Joe Ryan will make a swift return to the big stage. The Wirral athlete narrowly lost out to Brazilian Emerson Bento when they met on August 19.

Despite suffered a cut in the first round, Ryan showed grit and determination in Rounds 2 and 3, but it wasn’t enough to convince the judges. He lost a razor-close decision, despite many believing he did enough to win the fight.

The 19-year-old will face another tough task against Reza Ahmadnezhad next weekend. The Iranian competed in the group stages of the Middleweight tournament earlier this summer.

Joe Ryan’s Sitsongpeenong team-mates Thananchai and Nayanesh Ayman are amongst some of Reza’s recent opponents. Reza also holds a recent win over the UK’s Brad Stanton on his resume.

A victory would be monumental and could put him back in contention for the prestigious Rajadamnern Stadium title.

The win could see him potentially face the winner of Beckham vs Bento, who battle for the Middleweight title on the same card next week.
