Today, RWS Muay Thai revealed the 8 fighters entered into this years Welterweight tournament.
One of the most intriguing aspects is the inclusion of Yodwicha Por Boonsit.
Yodwicha has reached the finals of the Super-Welterweight tournament in the past two years.
In 2022 he lost out to Daniel Rodriguez and in 2023 he lost out to Thananchai Sitsongpeenong.
Now he has decided to drop down a weight division and will enter the Welterweight tournament this year.
Who’s in the 2024 RWS Welterweight tournament?
He will compete alongside 7 other huge names at 147bs, including the likes of current Rajadamnern Stadium Welterweight champion, Tapaokaew Singhamawynn.
Elsewhere, we have Max McVicker, Sajad Sattari, Hercules, Chujaroen, Saenpon and Erdem Dincer.
The most interesting part is all athletes are either current or former stadium and world champions.
